We look back on successful projects, exciting new beginnings, and an ever-trusting cooperation.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for this and look forward to having you on board again next year. Until then, we wish you, your families, and colleagues happy holidays and a bright new year!
Nevertheless, we want to refrain from gifting you Christmas presents this year. Not that you do not deserve them, quite the contrary! But the crises this year have once again made us aware of our privilege and reminded us that there are people (and animals) we can help with this contribution. Therefore, we would like to support those in our region who give their all day after day to make the world a little bit better. See for yourself these strong organizations and the great work they do:
- Saarbrücker Tafel e.V.
Since 1999, the Saarbrücker Tafel has been distributing food to around 2,500 people in need five days a week. For this purpose, the Tafel collects surplus food that is still usable according to legal regulations and gives it to people affected by poverty. - Radio Salü – wir helfen e.V. Aktion Sternenregen für saarländische Kinder in Not

The association pursues the goal of offering people living on the street a warm place in a heated bus on cold winter nights, as well as drinks and food. In addition, people in precarious housing situations can be supported, for example, to avert the threat of homelessness. - Elterninitiative krebskranke Kinder im Saarland e.V.
The association uses all the money raised to support children with cancer and their families through various activities, such as recreational vacations, temporary household help or direct financial aid. - Tierschutzverein 1924 e.V. Saarbrücken & Umgebung
The association at the Bertha Bruch animal shelter takes in about 500 animals a year, sometimes those that just escaped, but also often looking for a loving home. - Caritas Saarbrücken – Psychosoziale Beratungs- und Behandlungsstelle
The Saarbrücken counseling and treatment center directs its services to adults and adolescents who suffer from addiction to addictive substances such as drugs, alcohol or medication.
