For the 14th time, our partner KiM invited customers and prospects to the Golfhotel St. Wendel on March 29th and 30th. Over the course of two days, we exchanged ideas on core topics such as CPQ, PIM, 3D visualization, and CAD/BIM. Both the partner booths and the presentations and showcases revealed a trend: Companies encounter different challenges on their way to digitalization, but interrelated and integrated solutions to holistically enhance the customer journey are trending across industries.

But let's start from the beginning.

During the moderated icebreaker session titled "More than a solution: The interaction between PIM, CPQ, and 3D visualization" the evening before the conference, we were happy to see familiar and new faces and get to know our partner's customers better. In the subsequent newsflash, our managing director Mesut Cengiz took the opportunity to present the latest features of our 3PQ® Configuration Suite and highlight current product highlights. The evening concluded with a joint dinner, including a show by comedian Serdar Karibik.

While rain, sun, and thunder clouds alternated outside on day 2, good vibes already reigned at the St. Wendel Golfhotel at 8:30 a.m. The morning's program was primarily dedicated to PIM and CAD data, and the afternoon focused on successful e-commerce implementation, configure-price-quote systems (CPQ), and their interaction with PIM and 3D visualization.

After two days filled with new acquaintances, enriching insights, and impressive presentations, the conclusion is that individual challenges require individual solutions. Instead of trying to keep up with other companies and their supposed standards in the race to digitization, companies should establish their personal standard and take different paths than their competitors. We are on a good path in the industry. This year's first eCC concludes with KiM's Managing Director Achim Angel saying, "Next year, we look forward to celebrating a half anniversary with you all." To which we can only say: We do too.
